Residents of the Village at Meadowood

Reduce Energy And Save Money

Lower Your Year-Round Energy Costs

The Village at Meadowood Chelmsford, MA
The Village at Meadowood, an adult community of 71 homes in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, has teamed up with HomeWorks Energy to help residents save money on their utility bills and reduce carbon emissions in our community.

Residents may qualify for 100% off air sealing in their homes, 75-100% off insulation, up to $16,000 in heat pump rebates, and more, after completing a no-cost Mass Save® Home Energy Assessment with HomeWorks.

This effort is part of a new initiative by the Town of Chelmsford, which encourages home energy efficiency and seeks to expand access to Mass Save incentives, like weatherization and heat pump technology. By partnering with HomeWorks Energy, a longtime Mass Save partner, Chelmsford is helping its homeowners, renters, landlords, and business owners improve energy efficiency, save money, and elevate the comfort of their homes and buildings, starting with a no-cost assessment.

During your assessment, a Home Energy Specialist will review your home’s energy performance and show you how to save money and energy year-round. The benefits of an assessment may include:

  • No-cost custom home energy report
  • 100% off sealing air leaks in your home
  • 75-100% off recommended insulation
  • Up to $16,000 in heat pump rebates
  • 0% financing up to $25,000 through the HEAT Loan to finance any remaining costs of upgrades
  • No-cost, energy-saving items such as programmable thermostats and water-saving devices installed on the spot

Join us to start saving now and make our community more sustainable for generations to come!

Interested in a Heat Pump?

Your assessment may show that your HVAC system is near the end of its useful life and your specialist could recommend replacement with a heat pump. The Chelmsford Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee recommends serious consideration of this option, which is heavily incentivized by the Mass Save Sponsors.

If interested in heat pumps, a free heat pump consultation is available to you through our Committee and Massachusetts nonprofit, HeatSmart Alliance. Get free and impartial advice from a HeatSmart heat pump coach here: https://heatsmartalliance.org/coaching/
