Together We Can Electrify Hingham and Reduce Emissions
Hingham is helping residents reduce energy usage, improve home comfort, and save on costs. The Hingham Municipal Light Plant (HMLP) is collaborating with HomeWorks Energy, a Mass Save® partner, to assist natural gas residents in making their homes more efficient, starting with a no-cost assessment.
Following a letter from HomeWorks and HMLP, HomeWorks Energy representatives will visit neighborhoods to invite homeowners and renters to schedule a no-cost energy assessment. During an assessment, a Home Energy Specialist reviews a home’s energy performance and shows the resident how to save money and energy year-round.
