Our goal at HomeWorks Energy is to help homeowners save on utility costs, reduce energy usage in their communities, and increase environmental sustainability.
Individual action adds up! Through our partnerships with state-utility sponsored programs like Mass Save® and NYSERDA’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®, we are happy to help Massachusetts and New York residents live more sustainably, one home at a time.
Here’s how we’re doing so far this year…
What does it cost for you to heat and cool your home for a full year? By investing in recommended projects such as insulation or a new water heater, homeowners can cut utility costs by as much as 20%*. Through energy efficiency improvements made during the first quarter of this year, our customers will generate a combined lifetime savings of $42.6 Million!
Did you know Massachusetts is #1 in energy efficiency for the last seven years?* With solutions like replacing conventional light bulbs with energy-efficient ENERGY STAR® LED’s and upgrading to programmable thermostats that allow you to set your homes heating/cooling system to run along with your schedule, homeowners are able to conserve energy while still living comfortably year-round.
From April through June, HomeWorks helped our customers conserve over 143,000,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity. The energy that our customers are able to save is enough to power over 30 wind turbines for an entire year!
Save The Planet.
Through community partnerships and initiatives, we assist homeowners do their part today to help the world of tomorrow. Additionally, we help homeowners conserve water by replacing showerheads and aerators with low-flow options.
From April through June, HomeWorks Energy has helped homeowners cut down over 161,200 metric tons of CO2 emissions. That’s equivalent to powering over 16,800 homes for a whole year!
Our 2018 Environmental Goal
For 2018, HomeWorks Energy set a goal to help homeowners in Massachusetts cut 500,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions through energy efficient solutions. So far this year, we have cut just over 320,700 metric tons of CO2 emissions, that’s 64% of our goal! This would not be possible without all the homeowners who took steps towards improving the comfort and efficiency of their homes this year.
